It’s time for Tip #2 in how to stay Happy & Healthy this Holiday Season- Healthy Desserts!

…and it’s perfect to follow our last Tip #1- Top Supplements to help Blood Sugar 😊👍

One of the aspects of our nutrition this time of year that we can’t avoid is sugar… every holiday party and get together we gotta have amazing desserts, baked goods, and well sugar 😋…

So if we know that we are going to be surrounded by it, how can we make it a little less of an evil?

Well, option number one is use some great supplements to help control our blood sugar so we don’t have to wear out our pancreas, bloat up, and store more fat… Man I wish someone would come up with that list of supplements 🤔😅 ()

Option number two is find some “healthier” versions of desserts so that we don’t have soooo much simple sugar, artificial sweeteners, “natural” flavors, food dyes, etc.

So here are some of our favorite “Healthy Dessert Options” to help get your wheels turning!

*Note- Healthy desserts doesn’t mean we can eat as much as we want just because it is called “healthy.” If too much kale can be detrimental to our health… then having a pound of cacao dusted almonds probably isn’t a good idea either 🤓.

  1. 4-8 Organic Apples (chopped up)
  2. 2-4 tbsp of Grass-fed Butter or Coconut Oil (melted)
  3. 1 Tbsp of Cinnamon
  4. 1 Tbsp of Raw Honey (drizzled on after)

Coconut Cream Based Ice Creams– Our favorite brands include: Coconut Bliss, So Delicious Dairy Free

Healthy Milk Shake– Combine it all in a blender, enjoy!

  3. 1 tsp of vanilla powder
  4. Xylitol or Monkfruit extract sweetener to taste

  7. 1 tsp of cinnamon

  9. MCT oil*
  10. Pinch of salt

*Tip- Combine the shake with the apples and with the ice cream… just kidding that’s like the earlier comment about too much kale ;)…
